Jesus knows you are not perfect, but He also knows that you are made perfect in Him, if only you will come and surrender all to Him daily. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives us His compassionate instruction for everyday living and then wraps His teaching with the promise of His blessing. When you are poor in spirit, yours is the kingdom of heaven. When you are merciful, then you shall be given mercy. As you go about your daily life, be the salt, keep a secret life, and take the narrow way.
